Food industry

The project:

Our client is a catering company that supplies food to hospitals and the capital. The company was planning an expansion of the office and we are tasked with the job of coming up with a new office plan which compromises of 36 staff cubicles, 8 executive private rooms, a meeting room and a discussion area.

The challenge:

Finding an optimal ergonomic utilisation of the space was the biggest challenge for this project. We had to reorganise the space and create a design that would accommodate to the growing needs of the office. Lastly, the wire management also posed as an obstacle for this project.


Our solutions:

The client’s original idea was to have the wires though the hollow pillar from the ceiling, however they later found the cost to do this to exceeding their budget expectation. As such, we revised the design and created a customised 3.1-meter drop pole that connected the ceiling and the ground. The cost of this was 80 percent lower than the original projection and our client was happy with this arrangement.
